WaveLFO - Max For Live Modulator
This is a max for live device based off of ableton's stock LFO... with a unique rhythmic twist.
You can drag and drop wave(.wav) samples into the device to generate an lfo pattern to modulate anything in ableton that allows mapping.
You can zoom into samples and scroll though the file to capture specific waveforms that you would like to use as a modulator. You can also scale and smooth the amplitude of the waves to make it cover a precise range for modulation.
This also comes with all of the stock LFO features such as phase rotation, wave offset and depth, retriggering, sync and free rates, and holding position.
FAQ:
But dnksaus, what is the difference between this and Envelope Follower? Well Envelope Follower is unipolar modulating the amplitude, while WaveLFO is bipolar and oscillates the waveform. Also saves you a track and stretches the waveform far further than you can in live's warp modes :)
Update Log
- •Added Live 12 Version
- ◦New Mod mode for manually controlling parameters while they are being modulated by the device.
- ◦Added shape skewing and step dividing
- •Fixed a bug where waveform wouldn't save after closing a project or saving a preset.
You can get this in the All Max for Live Devices Bundle, which includes multiple products at a reduced price.
This device requires Ableton Live 10 Suite or newer, or Live 10 Standard with a max for live license.
